A self contained motorized RV. Class A RVs look similar to busses and are often referred to as a coach.
Class A Motor Homes are built on a special chassis. The following are the possibilities of a chassis manufacturer that a Coach might be built upon:
Chevrolet, Dodge, Dynomax, Ford, Freightliner, Gillig, GMC, Isuzu, John Deere, Kodiak, Roadmaster, Spartan, Workhorse and there are a few other possibilites.
A class A coach typically has the comforts of a home. Floorplans can include separate living quarters, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, one or more bedrooms, and even more than one bathroom.
Class A motorhomes vary in length from about 25 feet to 45 feet and can be powered by a gas or diesel engine. Most are equipped with generators to provide 120V power to your appliances.
Newer models have from 1 to 3 slideouts, where one or more sections of exterior wall can be extended at the push of a button to provide a greater, more roomy living area.
